QHS&E

Global Tubing is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, as well as the environment in which we operate, while delivering the highest quality products and services in the industry. Our patent-pending friction stir welding process minimizes burn hazards through reduced frictional heat and eliminates exposure to ultraviolet radiation generated by traditional arc welding technology. The absence of arc welding fumes means personnel are not subjected to heavy metal inhalation and no toxic heavy metals are released into the environment. The friction stir strip weld requires no metal removal or grinding before milling, which significantly reduces worker exposure to the leading cause of eye injury in the coiled tubing manufacturing environment. These unique safety precautions prevent injury to equipment operators, diminish environmental impact and reduce expenditures by eliminating the need for costly PPE equipment.
We are continuously improving our safety procedures and updating our PPE equipment to provide the safest environment possible for our workers. We believe that these improvements along with our recently implemented Life Changing Rules will greatly impact the personal safetly and health of each employee.

API & ISO

Each tubing string undergoes rigorous in-line and final quality testing against both industry standards and Global Tubing’s own quality system to assure the tubing is manufactured to customer requirements. In July of 2014, Global Tubing became recognized as one of two coiled tubing providers in the world to successfully complete the API 5ST Monogram & ISO 9001/API Certification process.
